By inserting lead wire into the slot you can offset the bead to increase hook gap and the hold of the hook while also inverting the fly in the water.

The colored beads allow you to add an extra flare or a hotspot to your flies.

Our beads are made of high quality Tungsten and fit around the hook nicely. Loss of material is minimized due to the well-placed hole in the bead.

Another plus for tungsten is its low toxicity, it does not appear to harm to animals if ingested.
